ROBERT EPSTEIN

Robert Epstein has been a practicing trial attorney for over 40 years. He received his law degree from the University of Richmond after having graduated from the Norfolk Division of hte College of William & Mary. Mr. Epstein is also a veteran of the Korean War. he is a longstanding member of both the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He brings his substantial knowledge and ability in the courtroom on your behalf.

GREGORY L. SANDLER

Greg Sandler has been a practicing attorney for 24 years. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore and holds a degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Mr. Sandler is also a member of both the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a member of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and holds the designation of Fellow by the National College of Advocacy.

JOHN M. FLORA

John Flora brings to the firm the intellectual rigor and analytical approach vital to complex litigation.  John was born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky on December 13, 1962.  He grew up in the mountains of eastern Tennessee in the small city of Kingsport.  After graduating from High School in 1981 he attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  In 1985 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Cum Laude).  While at Wake Forest he combined his interest of Business and Foreign Languages by taking advantage of the exchange program where he had the opportunity to live and study in Salamanca, Spain.  He returned the following year to Barcelona to complete his studies before receiving his degree.

 

He continued his formal education at the University of South Carolina School of Business where he earned Masters in International Business in 1987.  As part of this degree he again found himself abroad again working and studying in South America and Western Europe.  He gained valuable experience working for the large multinational corporation, Saint Gobain, headquartered in Paris.

 

As his experience broadened he recognized that a solid understanding of the law would be a valuable asset in his arsenal.  He attended the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville and graduated with a Juris Doctor degree in 1991.  While at law school he wrote for the Journal of Law and Education and developed a keen interest in tort law.  He became licensed to practice law in Virginia in 1991 and began practicing in the Tidewater area of Virginia in 1992.  He is currently a member of the Virginia State Bar, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association.  He concentrates his trial practice primarily in complex litigation involving medical malpractice, products liability, and aircraft accidents. 

John is also is a member of the Etheridge Society which is a group of Virginia attornyes devoted to the representation of medical malpractice victims. He holds the designation of Advocate by the National College of Advocacy. Mr. Flora is also bi-lingual speaking fluent Spanish.

Both Mr. Sandler & Mr. Flora are graduates of the National College of Advocacy at Harvard University.
